North London Hospice invites walkers to share their stories as the charity celebrates 30 years of the Big Fun Walk

Big Fun Walk – Sunday 10 May

On Sunday 10 May, hundreds of walkers of all ages will gather for North London Hospice’s Big Fun Walk – an iconic ten-mile route through London filled with laughter, remembrance and purpose.

The Big Fun Walk is the hospice’s flagship fundraising event and one of its most loved. This year marks 30 years since the very first walk, when participants made the journey from Finchley to Westminster on foot. To celebrate this milestone, special discounted ticket prices are available until 15 February.

To mark the anniversary, this year’s theme is ‘Every Step Holds a Story’. The walk offers a meaningful way to honour the memories of loved ones, and participants are encouraged to dress up and let their outfits reflect the stories that inspire them – from fairytale characters to a simple whimsical accessory.

Whether you dress up or not, every step helps raise vital funds so the hospice can continue providing comfort, care and peace when it is needed most. Walkers are encouraged to take photos, share their stories on social media and enjoy the memories made along the way.

The route takes in the leafy paths of Hampstead Heath, the stunning views from Primrose Hill and finishes in the historic heart of Westminster.

For those who prefer a shorter distance, the much-loved Little Fun Walk also returns this year, offering a five-mile route finishing at the top of Primrose Hill.
