We also received an application for an electric guitar to replace T’s old guitar – bought by us three years earlier – which he’d outgrown. He said “Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to own such a brilliant guitar. It plays so well and is going to really help me in my grade 6 exams and in my band. It sounds elite.”

As part of Imagination Unlimited, we also provide trips to the theatre. Recently, we took a group of care leavers to see the Lion King. For most of the young people it was their first time at the theatre. One young person who attended said “As soon as the curtain came up, I loved it –  it was amazing!” We have also taken 49 younger children and their carers to see Frozen and the Lion King. D’s carer said: “D really enjoyed it, even more so as he is taking GCSE drama and has never been to the theatre. His actual words were: I can see myself on that stage.”
