Live Unlimited – Inspiring Barnet’s looked after young people to thrive.
Live Unlimited is a charity providing opportunities and support to Barnet’s looked-after children and young care leavers, empowering them to live their best lives.
We are there on the journey with care experienced children and care leavers in Barnet, helping them to gain life skills, build relationships and networks, reducing isolation and providing them with the best opportunities possible, through three core schemes, around-the-year events, day trips and by providing items that enhance their wellbeing, such as bikes.
Our schemes have delivered a total of 1486 hours this past year and 359 children and young people have benefited from our delivery.
Kimia, aged 25, said “I’ve managed to achieve a goal I thought would take me years to accomplish. Learning to drive is a crucial skill and I wouldn’t have been able to do it without Live Unlimited”.
At the end of the last term of our Outdoor Club, everyone said they wanted to come back, and even asked to “come in winter if it snows”. One participant rated the club “10 trillion out of 10!”.
