Lee Cronin is fast becoming one of the best voices in modern blockbuster horror. After really impressing with Evil Dead Rise in 2023, he has now achieved that most hallowed of horror writer/director accolades – his name preceding the film title.

Lee Cronin’s The Mummy finds the young daughter of a journalist disappear into the desert without a trace for 8 years. When she is surprisingly found still alive, the family is shocked but grateful to have their daughter back after so long. But she has undergone a terrible, supernatural change in those 8 years, and soon her return turns into a living nightmare. Jack Reynor, Laia Costa, Natalie Grace, Veronica Falcón, Emily Mitchell, Shylo Molina, Hayat Kamille, Billie Roy and May Elghety make up the ensemble.
