Romantic comedies are very hard to get right, evident by the hundreds of duds currently filling up your streaming services. So for something to make a real mark in the genre these days, it needs to have an interesting angle. One Night Only follows two New Yorkers (Callum Turner and Monica Barbaro) as they search for love on the one night of the year when sex is legal. It might be a ridiculous premise but with chemistry like this, it’s ok. Turner and Barbaro are perfectly cast in this witty and engaging rom-com that gets a lot of things right and has undeniable charm.
