The best place for live comedy in north London
More than 100 of the best stand-up comedians around are heading to the Pleasance Theatre in Islington to try out some of their brand new jokes, in the Pleasance’s biggest ever Work in Progress Comedy Season.
See famous TV faces like Ed Gamble (Traitors Uncloaked), Maisie Adam (A League of Their Own) and Sophie Duker (Taskmaster) alongside award-winning favourites like Leo Reich, Kemah Bob, Joseph Morpurgo, Lara Ricote, Jordan Brookes and Catherine Bohart. Tickets are on sale now until the end of April, from as little as £8 each… and selling fast!
Plus, the Pleasance’s brand new monthly mixed-bill night, Cut Price Comedy, has all tickets available for a fiver! Expect cut-price pints and pizzas in the bar beforehand, making it the cheapest night out you’ll find in London. Keep an eye out for new line-ups announced each month, but be warned, tickets go quickly so advanced booking is always recommended.
The theatre is located a three minute walk from Caledonian Road tube (Piccadilly line) and you can check out the full listings online at Pleasance.co.uk.
