Firs Farm Wetlands

A thriving community nature reserve where volunteers help with habitat management, conservation work, wildlife projects and community events.

A community charity that brings people together through cooking, food education and community meals. Volunteers support cooking sessions, events and food preparation.

Forty Hall Estate

A local civic society working to protect and enhance the Southgate area through heritage projects, planning input and community initiatives.

Citizens Advice Enfield – Adviceline Assessor

Volunteers speak with clients on the phone to explore issues such as benefits, housing and debt and help guide them towards the right advice.
Time commitment: Two days per week (9.30am–4.30pm) for at least nine months.

Citizens Advice Enfield – Digital Champion

Digital Champions help residents build confidence using phones, tablets and computers and access services such as NHS accounts, Universal Credit and online banking.
Time commitment: 10am–3pm, one or two days per week for at least six months.

Middlesex Association for the Blind

Volunteers visit a visually impaired person in their home and provide practical support such as befriending, outings to local shops or parks, and help reading correspondence or making phone calls. Volunteers usually commit to 1 hour per week or 2 hours every fortnight.
